Garden Time’s strength stems from our partnerships. We build relationships with new employer partners by inviting them to present their work and to provide hands-on training. This strategy ensures that students are taught industry-standard relevant skills, directly from experts in the field. We also offer employer partners the chance to host a Green Reentry trainee as an intern for the last week of the program, free-of-charge since they are already being paid through the program. This gives trainees the opportunity to prove themselves, provides potential employers with a week-long trial period and offers both the chance to make sure it is a good fit. Green Reentry employer partners have proven that they can provide a healthy workplace culture where a formerly incarcerated individual feels welcome and supported.
